saturday mornign i got up to clean a park with faith brittani. a bunch of other ppl went to like jamil and ricardo and camilo and his brother, so it was cool. im sort of obligated to go since Brittani organizes the whole thing. nothing like a friend to pick up trash with u when they would rather be at home sleep.

went to my homie's party on saturday. it was super crazy. not crazy as in binge dinking and stuff, more like crazy as in wilin out to kelly clarkson. it was super cool. anywayz, open house on sunday wasnt as bad as i thought it was gonna be. i actually felt like i helped out some lil eighth graders. today in bio D-Rai (dr. Raiford for those not in the know) was absent, so i talked the whole class. i had a very enlightening convo w/ matt and christine. it was about the difference btwn being a good person having a relationship w/ God and stuff. they are really deep ppl.  down side is i still kno very little about RNA translation (?)w/e.  btw, do u guys know what to put in a research proposal for psych, cuz im pretty lost. lemme kno if u do.

o yea-my ipod is currently displaying the missing folder icon,  and wont register on my pc when its plugged in . HELP!!!!!

fun nite w/ faith and brittani yesterday. i had forgotten how much fun we have together. amazingly extensive convo w/ candez this afternoon.  i miss her sooo much. iop to work on, still. and sum psych crap to do .i better get used to it since im doin it HL

o well. for sum reason i think ive been unusually lonely recently, just a lack a physical ppl around me all the time. i guess i jus miss kth and simo bein there waiting for me every day after school. thanksgivings around the corner tho, so i can hold out til i get my next brother-fix. btw, his 18th bday was last thursday, 11/10. i think i was more excited than he was

wow. its been forever since i wrote on this thing. where to strart??so much has happened!!!

first, my bro and his roomate/my best friend are now in NC at duke. you wouldve thought he was going to iraq from all the crying i did when we left them at their dorm. im doing ok without them, but i look back on all the time i wasted being dumb and mean and arguing. but it doesnt matter anymore, they kno i love them. school started, obviously. psats are over!!! thank God, so much less stress. golf is over (once again, thank you Lord, all that sun was starting to get to me) thats pretty much it

ill be going to see keith in NC on friday for friends and family weekend, which will be the single most exciting thing that happened to me since we drove him up there.

my mom and i and some of our friends are going to miami tomorrow to see a Tyler perry play (medea is really funny)

hey everyone! just got back from nordstrom's in wellington and i FINALLY found my pumas !!!!! im so happy!!! and they were on sale. and there was no tax. that really made up for this morning. its a good thing i went shopping today. i needed something to make up for the extreme pointlessness and all the time i wasted at orientation today. omg, what a waste of my time!! i shouldve stayed sleep.

i leave for chicago tomorrow. come to think of it, i actually should be packing right now. i am really putting it off for some reason. i am jus too tired.

so anway, i am very elated right now. i swear, i get so much satisfaction from getting what i want. and im excited about seeing all my friends and family in chicago. and doing some more shopping . plus that, keith's getting a dvd now for us to watch on the plane. and i added like 300 songs to my ipod so i will have plenty to do.

i wont be back til the day b4 school, so i hope u all enjoy the rest of your summer and ill see most of u aug. 10!

wow. i just finished that horrible harry potter book. how freakin reatarded. thats all i have to say. it ended sooooooo bad. i swear, that 7th book must be really awesome for that rowling lady to make it up to her readers. not that i advise reading books about witches and that freaky stuff. but still, from a literary standpoint, i am very disappointed.

on a higher note, i got paid today (YESSS!!!), so now i can get the puma sneakers i want before the sale at nordstrom's ends. more than likely my dad will be getting them while i contribute, but hey, what are u gonna do?

i leave for chicago friday (once again, a resounding YESSS!!!!). i am so looking forward to it. especially since its one of my top three fave cities and hads such awesome shopping. which may or may not help much with the new strict dress code, but w/e.

my godfathers was sick so he coldnt come down from new york, so instead my mommy said we could fly up to visit him one weekend. now that keith's gonna be at duke, mom and i should have a lot more free time for that kind of stuff.

in other news, we have orientation thursday. i was somehow hoping i could leave for chicago early so i wouldnt have to go. it seems so pointless. but i guess ill get to see everyone, so its all good.

so as u can see, this summer really has shaped up to be pretty awesome. as is evident by the large imprint of my behind on the couch, i have taken full advantage of lounging around and watching tv for long hours during the day. all is well in Amber's world.
